She was sentenced to 29 years in prison for plotting the assassination of her former husband – the grandson of renown fashion designer Guccio Gucci and heir to the Gucci fashion empire Mauricio Gucci. The Ridley Scott film is adapted from Sara G Forden`s widely acclaimed non-fiction book “The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed”.
