Synopsis:
16-year-old Salma, an orphan living in Santa Clara, Mexico, can’t celebrate Day of the Dead because she doesn’t know who her biological family is. She is told that her parents have abandoned her but she still dedicates her life to looking for clues to their identity. One day, she discovers a book about Santa Clara and its residents’ history. Armed with this and accompanied by Pedro and Jorge, she embarks on a journey to find her long-lost parents and learn more about the missing link to her family’s heritage.
